First things first: I wasn't really a fan of the movie "Elysium", though I am the biggest fan when it comes to its outfit designs. I am a sucker for believable, "grounded-looking" / "uncanny-valley free" sci-fi, and they did a fantastic job at it (in my opinion). Hence, I had no other choice but to try and recreate it...

Huge... HUGE thanks to my mentor for this project: Brad Myers. I had already done the high poly when I first met him, but he strongly suggested reworking the clothes by using the scan cleaning approach. After a bit of hesitation, I decided to restart the clothes and go the "Call of Duty way" by sculpting my way through folds! And oh boy, now I want to do only that for the rest of my career! Not kidding! He also had me improve my composition skills.. But most importantly, he had me push my "minimum acceptable standard" for the face to a whole new level. And simply as he was an artist whose work I greatly admired, I had that additional pressure that helped me go above and beyond to show that I was worth it. So again, thank you, man. :)
I would have never achieved that level of quality on this project without your mentoring.

Also, big thanks to Vincent Ménier, aka the main mentor during the early 2023 "Parasite" project. He advised me at the very beginning on the topology and UV sets. Then in the very last month, he gave me very good feedbacks on color grading and narrowing the amount of pictures that made it to this final ArtStation post.
